Uma Satapathy
Founder and CEO
Uma Satapathy is a student at the Awty International School in Houston, Texas with great ambitions for the environment. Seeing the effects of climate change, natural disasters, and drought, Uma originally started working towards spreading awareness about related issues on her blog, The Conscious Planet. in 2026, she founded the Houston Rainwater Resilience Initiative in order to provide a more targeted solution to the environmental issues facing the Houston metro area.
